Children with access to healthy foods are better equipped to succeed academically and socially, and that's why The Motherhood is excited to join Champions for Kids as they team up with Kellogg Company, Emerald, Dole and Walmart to help give kids the resources they need to thrive.
Join us for this Tweet-up to spread the word about a simple give-back initiative that can help give kids the nutritious snacks they need during and after school to get them through the day.
This SIMPLE Giving program is taking place in more than 3,000 Walmart stores across the U.S., with the goal of collecting nutritious snacks for children that need them. Anyone can participate simply by purchasing and donating back-to-school snack foods at your local Walmart store from August 1-18. All donations collected will go directly to local school districts. For a full list of participating stores, click here.
During the Tweet-up, we'll be sharing more ways to give in your communities, including Champions For Kids' SIMPLE Service Projects. A few upcoming programs include the Game Day Great Project, sponsored by Dole; and Fuel for School, sponsored by Kellogg Company. These SIMPLE Service Projects provide easy ways for you and others to help the kids in your own communities through four easy steps -- Gather, Learn, Give and Share! Learn more by joining us for the #SIMPLEGiving Tweet-up!
Prizes! Five prizes will be awarded to randomly selected participants who answer trivia questions correctly. Each prize is a $50 Walmart gift card. Prizes are limited to U.S. participants ages 18 and older only.
